The Salvation Army opened the Patvērums Childrens Day Centre in March 2002 to provide a safe environment for underprivileged children from the local community in Riga.

+15 becomes +14
One of our first posts on this blog was about the plus 15 group that was being relaunched. Due to number's, we have decided to extend this to a +14 group. We had 3 young girls who were aged 14 and we felt they could do with the extra activities this group provides.
So far the group has been a resounding success and they have done all sorts of activities from glass painting to cooking and photography to museum visits.
Please pray for these young girls as they spend time together!
